Second Saturday Art Walk

On the second Saturday of each month, galleries in Sacramento stay open for a Sacramento Art Walk late into the evening, allowing people to walk from gallery to gallery, viewing, experiencing and discovering local art galleries and meeting artists.

California Stagecoach Days 2008

California State Parks and its partner organizations invite you to participate in this special 150th anniversary, recognizing and celebrating the history of stage lines to California. Special festivals and programs during August, September and October will feature living histories, tours, lectures, stories, songs, food, equipment displays, and actual historic stage roads.

Neo-Classic Painting Opens Fall Season at Asylum Gallery

After a six year absence from showing work in any of Sacramento's galleries, Dan Samborski will exhibit new paintings from September 6 to October 6.

Asylum Gallery inside HQ: Headquarters for the Arts, 1719 25th St. A Second Saturday reception is planned from 6 to 9 pm on September 13th. Regular gallery hours (except for 2nd Saturday) will be 1 to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment. 916-704-2909.

Amador Flower Farm Daily Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Amador County's only corn maze. The patch is open daily throughout the month offering pumpkins and gourds in a great country pumpkin patch setting. Find your way through the corn maze, send the kids through the hay bale tunnel and pick out the perfect jack-o-lantern pumpkins.

Sacramento River Train Presents: The Great Pumpkin Express
