For 16 years the Pacific Rim Festival has displayed the richness and diversity of many Pacific Rim cultures through cultural programs, entertainment, art and food. The event also enhances the community's knowledge of Asian/Pacific Island cultures in a fun and positive environment. Free admission.

August 9-10 — Japanese Food & Cultural Bazaar
Traditional Japanese dishes ranging from teriyaki chicken to sushi are on the menu at the Sacramento Buddhist Church’s yearly food and cultural bazaar. Hundreds gather to enjoy cultural performances, demonstrations and children’s games. Free admission.
