Terry Selk

Director of Tourism

Terry Selk is the Director of Tourism for the SCVB.  He is responsible for promoting the city to tour operators and leisure group coordinators around the world.  He helps these tour groups by developing itineraries for tourists to enjoy the most Sacramento has to offer.  

Before joining the SCVB, Terry was president of his own tourism marketing company, TASMARK Enterprises. Terry also spent eighteen years working at the California Tourism office,  twelve of which he was in charge of the domestic and international travel trade development program.  

Terry graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies.  

In his spare time, Terry enjoys golfing, reading, traveling, fitness and home improvement.
